Located in the heart of the Pityusic Islands, “River House” is a villa with deep Mediterranean roots, where you can breathe the salty air and feel the warmth of the sun all year round. This project has been a unique experience for us at Carpintería JL Pascual, not only because its location and design invite a world of calm, but also because it was an opportunity to incorporate the best of our carpentry into a truly special space.
Mediterranean Light as the Protagonist
One of the most fascinating aspects of “River House” is how the architecture captures Mediterranean light from dawn to dusk, allowing each room to be filled with warm and vibrant nuances. To maximize this effect, we worked with a series of minimalist aluminum carpentry systems, specially designed for large surfaces and panoramic views. These elements provide an open-plan space and create a perfect balance between open and closed, allowing nature and comfort to integrate harmoniously.
Windows, Railings, and Curtain Walls: Designed for Well-being
Every detail of this project has been carefully considered, from the aluminum windows with high thermal and acoustic performance glass, to the imposing curtain wall that bathes the house in natural light. We have created windows with walkable floors, integrated into the minimalist style that distinguishes the villa, allowing the interior and exterior to merge uniquely. Furthermore, the glass offers an exceptional level of thermal and acoustic comfort, isolating spaces from any external noise and maintaining an ideal temperature, which is essential for the well-being of those who inhabit this refuge.

River House has been honored at the prestigious International Property Awards in London, receiving two awards that recognize its quality and design: one in the Architecture category and another distinguishing it as the Best House in Spain. These accolades endorse the commitment to excellence of both Miralbo Urbana, the developer, and our team, which has been responsible for providing high-level and highly functional carpentry solutions.
